Miss Rajska has been teaching 4th grade at Budlong for the past 3 years. She's a proud Illinois State Alum, and has a masters in education with a focus on English Language Learners from University of Illinois Chicago. When she's not teaching you can find her at the tennis court, reading books from the Chicago Public Library, or speaking in her native tongue, Polish.
Mrs. Rutkowski has been teaching for the past fifteen years. She started her career teaching high school in Washington, DC and made the switch to elementary school in 2011. She has a BA from Boston College in English and Philosophy, and a Masters in Education in transition special education from George Washington University. She also received training in English Language Learner instruction from the American College of Education.
She loves to read young adult literature, do arts and crafts, write, and her spare time she works out next to Budlong at Galter Life Center. Mrs. Rutkowski also coaches soccer through AYSO, and she encourages all students to learn through moving!
